The State of California provides many tools for parents to get information on the school district and the many schools within the Chino Valley Unified School District (CVUSD). The CVUSD main website is:

School district websites can be complex, so we’re offering here a few simple shortcuts and other ways to learn more about the district and schools within it. But, first, we thought it would be nice to have a simple directory that lists the schools, addresses, and contact information. So here you go.

Click this link for a simple Microsoft Excel worksheet listing that information.

The list also contains private and charter schools within the district, for example, the Boys Republic and the Allegiance STEAM Academy, one of the only K-8 chartered schools in the area at the time of this writing.

If you’re interested in local school rankings and performance, using California state resources is the best way to get that information. The California Department of Education webpage offers several types of ratings, including the following:

Annual Enrollment Reports

  • Enrollment By Ethnicity
  • Enrollment By Grade
  • Enrollment By Ethnicity and Grade
  • English Learners (by language, by grade)

Accountability Reports

  • California School Dashboard Report
  • School Dashboard Additional Reports and Data

Assessment Reports

  • California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP)
  • Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
  • English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC)

Some Financial Reports, like the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF), are available too.

One program the state offers is the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) administers is the English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC). Their website allows you to drill down school by school to see the school’s level of English Language Proficiency. In addition, it shows you the percent of students within each of the performance levels that are minimally, somewhat, moderately, or well developed in English language skills within the school.

You can view a summary, search and compare results, View by grade, see the research files, and check all the test results at a glance. They have convenient charts and data visualization tools to help. You can start your analysis here:
