The Dog Park for Chino Hills held an event on Saturday, October 23, to promote the park and raise funds.
Vendors from throughout the community set up booths, including Paws 4 Success, Kahoots, Pet-Wants Nutrition and Priceless Pets. Paws 4 Success presented two demonstrations of trained dogs. They are a registered non-profit located in Chino Hills that prepares service dogs for veterans and first responders with PTSD. Kahoots and PetWants offer nutritious foods for canines. Priceless Pets has been saving animals in the Chino Valley for many years. There were many other vendors too. I
Hundreds of locals showed up to support the event and many of them purchased a brick with their name on it to help support further development of the park.
They also participated in the Howl-o-Ween Canine Costume Party. There were several hot dog costumes, at least one dog dressed up (along with their owners) as spaghetti and meatballs, and even a Harry Potter Quidich themed wagon with three little Yorkies in costume as players.
We would view this as a great success for Dog Park for Chino Hills. The 501(c)3 lobbied Chino Hills to build the park many years ago and the park is always busy entertaining our local canine community.
